PROFESSOR DIRETOR DE TURMA
PRECARIZAÇÃO E INTENSIFICAÇÃO DO TRABALHO DOCENTE NO CEARÁ
Abstract
This article analyses the Teacher Class Director Programme, implemented in the Ceará state public school system, in the light of historical-dialectical materialism. The research aims to understand the effects of this project on the precariousness and intensification of teaching work. The data reveals that, although the programme presents itself as a proposal for pedagogical support and valuing the teaching function, in practice it promotes task overload, individual responsibility and the emptying of pedagogical activity. The analysis shows that the programme is part of the neoliberal logic of education management, subordinating schools and teachers to the demands of capital. Taking Tonet's (2014) studies into account, it is argued that there is no possibility of overcoming these limits without breaking with the capitalist order that structures such policies. It concludes by affirming the urgency of pedagogical practices that link teaching to the struggle for human emancipation and the construction of a new sociability.
