THE IMPERATIVENESS OF BRAZILIAN GENETIC-HISTORICAL FORMATION

Abstract

The article intends to assess the possibilities of universalization of schooling in Brazil. It is herein understood that the correct comprehension of the subject can only be achieved in view of the genetic-historical formation of Brazil. In conclusion, the study indicates that the colonial path which characterizes the capitalist development in Brazil, does not permit that the level reached by the central capitalist countries as far as schooling universalization is concerned reproduces it self in Brazil.
