The main objective of the article is to discuss the question of individuality in the compound of Marx’s works, bringing about some analytical elements on the subject. Thus, tagging along the path mapped out up by Lukács, it discusses the Marxian meaning of individuality as an ontological complex, to, later, point out the process of complexification of individualities in capitalist sociability. It goes on to state the strategies presently operated by the system to engender, among the workers, the adequate ideological dispositions, required to comply with capital’s project, emphasizing, moreover, to what extent such strategies reach the field of theoretical production. Finally, the article points out the challenge to retrieve the appropriate and necessary understanding of the question of individuality in Marx’s works, particularly, in the context of The Capital, a crucial, step towards the comprehension of socio historical process, and, therefore, that of human upcoming.
