THE ONTOLOGICAL NATURE OF MARX’S THOUGHT
Keywords:
Marxian ontology, labor, LukácsAbstract
The article puts in context the economicist and gnoseologist deviations, among others, historically imparted to Marxist tradition, reaffirming, on the contrary, the ontological nature of Marx’s thought. In this sense, it reassures the importance of Lukács’ retrieve of labor and, by the same token, the indissoluble unity between subjectivity and objectivity, as the very core of Marxian ontology. This is defined herein as a new, radically revolutionary type of ontology, which reclaims a new intelligibility for the understanding of the social being, as a being which is historically determined.
