Abstract

The final projects of the social work residency program: a study based on historical-dialectical materialism, aimed to present a discussion grounded in the Marxist categories to derive from these the particularity of the systematic production in a Multiprofessional Integrated Residency program. Thus, the methodology structured itself from a research of bibliographical nature, with the utilization of theoretical contributions anchored in the critical reading of reality, having as investigative substratum Residency Final Projects (TCRs). Started itself the discussion involving the theoretical maturation of Social Work. In the posterior circle of discussion, the concern was to address the normative frameworks of the professional category: 'social worker' in what corresponds to the 'production of knowledge'. Next, realized itself the exegesis of the historical-dialectical materialistic method, utilizing articles produced by the resident social workers as investigative insumo, considering them in their concrete and abstract terms as well as in their historical linkages. Finally, the text was concluded exposing the aspects about the importance of the method in the construction of critical knowledge.
